This led to his keen interest in Augustus, whom he finds especially intriguing due to his establishment of two hundred years of world peace through a rather harsh approach. Even though Augustus wasn’t the most admired Caesar, Zuckerberg sees value in considering the trade-offs that came with his accomplishments. He’s even drawn inspiration from the Latin language, and named his second daughter August.
In analyzing how much Zuckerberg is emulating the infamous ruler, it’s evident that there are some similarities between the two. However, when considering factors such as astrology, youth, rise to power, popularity, and long-term impact, the resemblance is not as strong as one might think. Though both figures achieved great influence at an early age, and have left a lasting impact on the world, their personalities, public perception, and overall reputation differ significantly. This renders Zuckerberg only 60% similar to Augustus Caesar, leaving room for improvement.
