Two ‘One Chance’ Robbers Apprehended in Lagos, photo by Punchng.com
Two suspects, Okoro, 45, and Patience, 42, were taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command for their alleged involvement in ‘one chance’ robbery in the state. The pair has been accused of posing as commercial bus drivers and then abducting unsuspecting passengers to different locations where they would steal their belongings. The arrest took place around 6:00 am on February 17th.
The public had informed the police about the suspects’ activities. Additionally, one victim was able to recognize the suspects and recalled that they had stolen N37,000 from her two weeks prior. The suspects were apprehended in the Olososun Ojota area after the public reported that they had been posing as drivers and then robbing their passengers. Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the Lagos police, confirmed their arrest and stated that the suspects would be prosecuted following the investigation.
